Brenda Gibson

Brenda Gibson CPA, CA, CIP serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Red River Mutual since April 2023. Previously, Brenda held various leadership roles at Wawanesa Insurance from 2005 to April 2023, including Vice President of Products for Personal Lines, where strategic initiatives were implemented to enhance revenue and customer satisfaction. Additional positions at Wawanesa included Vice President of Products (Life Operations), Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, and Vice President of the British Columbia Region, among others. Earlier in Brenda's career, positions included Manager of Strategic Systems Renewal, Manager of Treasury, and Manager of Accounting at Wawanesa, as well as roles at Elite Swine/Landmark Feeds and MNP. Brenda holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from the University of Manitoba, as well as Chartered Accountant and Chartered Insurance Professional designations.
