Janis Cravatt has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Janis began as a Field Interviewer at Westat in 2012 before moving on to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, where they worked as a Strategic Planner from 2014 to 2018. After that, they joined LITTLE DIXIE COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC as a Project Director in 2018, a position they held until 2020. Currently, they are working at Red Rock Behavioral Health Services as a Project Director, where they focus on improving systems and impacting health disparities and outcomes. Janis is responsible for managing grant-related projects, supporting organizational change through policy development and implementation.
Janis Cravatt earned a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, which they attended from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from California State University, Fullerton, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Janis Cravatt obtained a certification in Occupational Safety and Health: Blood-Borne Pathogens from LinkedIn in June 2023.
