Richard Kohn

Richard Kohn has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2005, they worked as the Global Head of Marketing and Global Brand Director at Sodastream, where they successfully reinvigorated the brand. From 2007 to 2007, they served as the Interim Commercial Director at HM Prison Service, where they managed different industries spread across England and Wales. At SCA Hygiene Products, they held multiple roles between 2008 and 2011, including Marketing Director (Category Portfolio Director), Americas & Australasia, and Category Market Director, Americas - Consumer Tissue, where they played a key role in developing global brand and product strategies. At Pelion S.A., they served as the Managing Director, CEPD CTP BV from 2011 to 2014, where they created a new retail brand division and successfully sold a range of innovative products. In 2014, they founded Snoep Goed, The Power of Healthy Snacking, where they built distribution and brand awareness across the Benelux region. From 2016 to 2018, at Genius Foods, Richard worked as the Manager in the Netherlands, focusing on P&L management, key account management, and brand development. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Category Development & Brands Director at Life Pharmacy, where they led a team in restructuring the Brands and Category division. At Middle East Bridge, they worked as a Strategic Advisor & Board Member from 2020 onwards, facilitating market entry for companies taking advantage of the Abraham Accords. Finally, they currently hold the position of Director of Product Marketing at RedSea, starting from 2023.

Richard Kohn has a diverse education history. From 2007 to 2012, they attended the University of Leicester, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Marketing. In 1999, Richard completed a program in Commercial Mediation at the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Richard also has a Law degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they obtained from 1983 to 1986. Prior to attending LSE, Richard attended the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle, from 1976 to 1983. Although not specified, Richard also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Lonson School of Economics. In addition to their educational accomplishments, Richard is a Certified Commercial Mediator from the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
