Jimmy Cheong

Jimmy Cheong has an extensive work experience in the IT and Telecommunications industry. Jimmy currently holds the position of Head of IT & Telecoms at RED Technologies since August 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Engineer at ST Engineering from March 2023 to September 2023. Jimmy also worked as an ICT Consultant at China Telecom Asia Pacific from May 2018 to March 2023. Before that, they served as a Project Engineer at XIN Networks from November 2017 to May 2018. From July 2011 to September 2017, they worked as a Project Manager at Consistel. Earlier in their career, Jimmy held roles such as RF/Project Manager at Comba Telecom and Consistel, RF/Project Manager at Consistel, Product Sales Manager at TCE Pte Ltd, and Senior Sales Engineer/Pre Sales Technical Consultant and Project Engineer at Intrawave Pte Ltd.

Jimmy Cheong received an Advance Diploma in Computer Studies from Informatics Education Ltd. from 2000 to 2002. Jimmy also obtained a Wireless Personal Communication Certificate from Temasek Polytechnic in 1998. In 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Data Center Practitioner degree at DCPRO. Following that, from 2021 to 2023, they enrolled in NTUC LearningHub and earned a Certified Scrum Master degree in Project Management. Additionally, they hold an ICAGILE Certified Agile professional certification from NTUC LearningHub in Project Management, obtained in 2021.
