Nicholas Yap has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Nicholas is currently the Chief Operating Officer at RED Technologies. Prior to this, they held positions at Velocity Global, LLC as the Vice President Global Customer (Supported Employees) Experience, and as the Managing Director, APAC. At Serco, they served as the Head of Business Development, where they secured a significant pipeline and developed new business in various industries. Nicholas also worked at Digital Ideas Group Pte. Ltd as the Managing Partner & Principal Consultant and as the Co-Founder & Managing Director. Nicholas held multiple roles at Condeco, including Managing Director, VP Sales, and Operations Director APAC, where they established offices, forged strategic partnerships, and enhanced customer satisfaction. Earlier in their career, they worked at BT Global Services as the Global Business Director, Head of Service Management, and Specialist Service Designer, and at Alcatel-Lucent as the Bids & Proposals Leader, Regional Bid Manager, and Offer Controller. Nicholas also gained experience at Hewlett-Packard and Red Technologies (S) Pte Ltd as a Project Manager. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in various areas such as customer experience, business development, project management, and strategic leadership.
Nicholas Yap has a Design Thinking Foundation from IDEO, a Deep Learning Jumpstart with a focus on Machine Learning/Neural Networks from SGInnovate, and an ITIL V3 Expert certification in IT Service Management. Nicholas also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Communication systems from Edith Cowan University, and they completed high school at Maris Stella.
