Aldo Secaida

Aldo Secaida has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and ecommerce. Aldo is currently working as the VP of Engineering at Red Van Workshop since October 2021. Before that, they held the position of Technical Architect at the same company from January 2019 to October 2021.

Prior to their work at Red Van Workshop, Aldo was the Director of Ecommerce Technology at Trina Turk from January 2018 to January 2019. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of ecommerce, including development, merchandizing, customer service, and digital marketing.

From January 2017 to December 2017, Aldo worked as a Senior Web Development Manager at Rebecca Taylor. Aldo was responsible for overseeing all development on the Demandware platform and creating and maintaining integrations with various analytic tools and shopping feeds.

Before that, Aldo served as a Senior Web Development Manager at Kellwood Company from March 2013 to December 2016. Aldo led a team of four developers and was responsible for overseeing development on platforms like Demandware, Venda, and WordPress.

From April 2011 to March 2013, Aldo worked as a Senior Lead Web Developer at BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP. Aldo oversaw development on various platforms like GSI and WordPress and led a team of three developers.

Prior to joining the corporate world, Aldo owned and operated their own freelance web development business from July 2007 to March 2011. Aldo primarily worked with small businesses, designing and developing websites on the LAMP stack using WordPress.

In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications from Salesforce, including a Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Architect certification in February 2021 and a Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer certification in November 2018.
