Lyss Welding

Lyss Welding is a seasoned professional in the editorial and higher education sectors, currently serving as the Senior Editor and Higher Ed Data Content Team Lead at Red Ventures since June 2021. Previously, Lyss held various editorial roles at Edelman from November 2018 to May 2021, including Editor and Associate Editor, following an internship. Lyss's experience also includes significant contributions to the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago from September 2013 to August 2018, where responsibilities spanned across leadership, curriculum development, and evaluation practices. Earlier positions at the University of Chicago as a Research Assistant and at Niche as an Editorial Intern have further solidified Lyss's expertise. Lyss holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Chicago, earned in 2011.
