Lorenz Fischer, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Reddit, Inc. since October 2022. Prior experience includes co-founding Yuno Technologies, where as CEO, Lorenz led a mission-driven startup focused on helping individuals embrace change. Lorenz also co-founded and was the CTO of Sentient Machines, developing AI products for real-time data analysis of natural language interactions. Involved in various entrepreneurial roles, Lorenz was a founder in the Zinc M2 program and worked at Entrepreneur First developing an early-stage startup. Previous positions include data engineering at Swisscom and research roles at the University of Zurich and Yahoo! Research Barcelona. Lorenz holds a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Informatics from the University of Zurich.
