Rachel O'Brien

Senior Director, Tech PMO

Rachel O'Brien is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Director of the Technical Program Management Office at Reddit, Inc., Rachel has been instrumental in establishing and managing Reddit's first office outside the US while previously leading the engineering team in Trust & Safety for the EMEA region. Prior experience includes leading a blockchain engineering program at ConsenSys focused on social impact initiatives, and serving as a Software Developer at Facebook, where Rachel contributed to digital rights protection. Earlier roles at IBM, Fidelity Investments, and BNY Mellon involved software engineering, project management, and database management. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Enterprise Computing from Dublin City University and an ICM Higher Certificate in Computer Software Engineering from the Fitzwilliam Institute.
