Xun Tang is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in data engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Ads Prediction at Reddit, Inc. since April 2023, Xun is responsible for hiring key team roles and leading the development of targeted advertising solutions. Prior to this, Xun worked at Twitter from December 2019 to April 2023, where as Sr Engineering Manager for Data Engineering, significant contributions were made to enhance data processing and insights for consumer products. Previous roles included Engineering Manager at Yelp, focusing on ads delivery and prediction, and positions at Yahoo and Electronic Arts, where Xun gained experience in software engineering and data platform optimization. Xun holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and is currently pursuing a Management Essentials Certificate from Harvard Business School.
