Zach Saul

Zach Saul is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in machine learning, software engineering, and entrepreneurship. Currently a Senior Engineering Manager at Reddit, Inc., Zach leads the Ranking Platform, ML and AI Inference, and Search Infrastructure, having scaled the Machine Learning Ranking Platform team from inception. Prior roles at Reddit included Staff Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Software Engineer (Contract), where significant contributions included developing a modern recommender system and building a video personalization platform. As the founder of Retronyms Inc. and Ethex, Zach has directed diverse projects in music creation and technology development. Additionally, Zach has held roles at Eventbrite and was instrumental in enhancing payment capabilities in a key product during the company's IPO phase. With prior experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis and as founder of AWholeNote.com, Zach combines academic knowledge with extensive industry experience.
