Chris Winter

Chris Winter has had a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Chris co-founded RedEarth Energy Storage Ltd in 2015 and served as the CTO. In 2016, they became the Executive Director at Oz Autogate. Prior to that, they founded Leptis Magna Pty Ltd in 2013. From 2005 to 2013, Chris worked at RedFlow Limited as the CTO and later the CEO. Additionally, they co-founded Halcyon Energy in 2001, which eventually led to the establishment of RedFlow Pty Ltd. Chris started their career as a Petroleum Engineer at Wintershall in 1999 before leaving to start a technology-based start-up. Before that, they worked at Schlumberger as a Wireline Engineer and manager of International client support in Venezuela, Germany, Oman, and Egypt.

Chris Winter attended The University of Queensland from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Petroleum Engineering. Chris then pursued further education at UNSW from 1987 to 1989, earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Petroleum Engineering.
