Alexey Tomsov is an accomplished professional in the field of biotechnology and food engineering with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as the Food Engineering R&D Team Leader at Redefine Meat since June 2018, Alexey is responsible for planning and managing R&D initiatives, formulations, production processes, and analytics, while successfully launching innovative products in global markets. Prior to this role, Alexey worked as the Academic Entrepreneurship Coordinator at the Bronica Entrepreneurship Center at Technion from April 2016 to 2018, where responsibilities included managing academic activities and facilitating institutional changes. Alexey's earlier experience includes roles as a Project Development Instructor at Technion and a Film Editor & Director with the Government of Israel from 2008 to 2011. Educationally, Alexey holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
