Paweł Rakoczy

Paweł Rakoczy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Paweł is currently working as an Azure Cloud Architect/Consultant at Redeploy, where they are responsible for designing and deploying scalable, reliable, and cost-effective Azure infrastructure. Paweł also automates processes and tasks, implements security and governance measures, and ensures regulatory compliance.

Prior to that, Paweł worked at Valo as an M365/Azure Engineer. In this role, they collaborated with the Valo Partner Network to resolve technical issues related to Modern Workplace solutions in SharePoint, Teams, and Azure. Paweł'sresponsibilities included code analyzing, bug hunting, troubleshooting, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Before joining Valo, Paweł was a Senior System Engineer at Realdolmen, where they managed a custom hybrid cloud solution combining Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V. Paweł also worked as a System Engineer, handling day-to-day operations, incident and problem management, and executing changes in a SharePoint and Windows Server environment.

Additionally, Paweł has experience as a Tier 2 IT Specialist at CH2M, providing escalated support to internal customers. Paweł also worked as a Tier 1 IT Specialist, supporting users within the EMEA region and developing excellent customer support skills.

Paweł started their career as a Freelance IT Support professional, providing IT support services on a freelance basis. Paweł also gained experience as a Geologist Assistant/Geotechnician at Hunter Dickinson Inc. and served as an IT Administrator at multiple organizations, including Diamond Hill - Height Services, Fortress Climbing Centre, and sleepinginkrakow.com.

Paweł's early career includes a traineeship at the Aleppo wastewater treatment plant laboratory at Aleppo University, where they had the opportunity to broaden their environmental knowledge and work with colleagues from different cultures.

Paweł Rakoczy obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geotechnics and water protection (Environmental engineering) from AGH University of Krakow, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they also hold several certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Office 365, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate. The certifications were obtained between the years 2014 and 2023.
