David Gummer

David Gummer is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in various industries. David started their career in 1995 at Datamonitor, where they worked as a Senior Analyst, focusing on the pharmaceutical industry. After that, David joined KPMG UK as an Executive Consultant, providing strategic consulting services in the TMT sectors.

In 2000, David transitioned into venture capital investment, joining 3i as a Venture Capital Investor. Over the next five years, they gained valuable experience in this field. In 2006, they joined BT as the Head of Corporate Development, responsible for various corporate development initiatives spanning telecoms, media, online, software, and IT services.

From 2008 to 2014, David held multiple roles at BT, including General Manager positions in Telemetry/M2M and Online directories. David successfully launched new products, expanded market share, doubled revenues, and led integration efforts.

In 2014, David joined Lumesse as the Director of Product Management & Alliances, where they served until 2016. David then moved to NGA Human Resources, where they held the position of Director of Product Management until 2018.

From 2018 to 2022, David worked at Finastra as the Global Head of Services Strategy & Portfolio Management, responsible for creating and packaging service propositions to support customer outcomes and ensure profitable growth.

Currently, David is serving as the Chief Product Officer at Redgate Software, a leading provider of tools for compliant database DevOps. In this role, they lead the Product team, driving innovation, improved customer outcomes, and accelerated business growth.

David Gummer received their MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 1992 to 1995.
