Graham McMillan

Graham McMillan currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Redgate Software, having started in February 2024. Previously, Graham held various roles at Elsevier from April 2015 to March 2024, including VP Engineering, where responsibilities included leading the strategic direction for peer-review and submission systems within the Research Products division and enhancing software engineering practices through agile methodologies. As Director of Software Engineering, Graham was the CTO of the Social Science Research Network (SSRN), overseeing IT integration across Elsevier. In earlier positions, Graham served as Integration and Data Architect at Elsevier and as an Enterprise Architect Senior Director at Oracle, focusing on transformational programs leveraging Oracle Middleware technologies. Graham's career includes roles as an Enterprise Architect at BEA Systems, a Consultant at Sun Microsystems, and IT Specialist/Technical Consultant at IBM Global Services. Graham earned a BSc in Biochemistry from The University of Edinburgh from 1992 to 1996.
