Tom Russell

Director Of Brand & Community at Redgate

Tom Russell has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tom began their career at the University of Cambridge as an Assistant Press Officer, where they wrote numerous press releases that received coverage from reputable media outlets. Tom then joined Redgate Software, starting as a Marketing Associate and gradually progressing to roles of increasing responsibility. In their most recent position as the Director of Brand & Community, they led the marketing operations, managed a team of fifteen, and successfully implemented the adoption of Marketo. Throughout their tenure at Redgate, Tom played a key role in branding initiatives, managed advertising budgets, and worked closely with various departments to ensure consistent messaging.

Tom Russell holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Assyriology from Churchill College, Cambridge, which they obtained in 2009. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Classics from the same institution, completing it in 2007. Tom also possesses a certification in GA4 Kickstarter team training from Measurelab, obtained in 2023.
