Ahmed Sanaullah

Ahmed Sanaullah is a Principal Research Software Engineer at Red Hat since October 2019, with experience as a Senior Data Scientist focusing on FPGAs and as a Software Engineer. Previous roles include Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Fellow at Boston University, where Ahmed's dissertation focused on a High Performance Hardware Development Kit for Transparent FPGA Computing. Additional experience includes internships and research positions at Red Hat, Argonne National Laboratory, and Silicon Therapeutics, with projects involving FPGA applications in cloud computing, deep neural networks, and drug discovery. Ahmed holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Boston University, an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
