Carolyn Nash

Carolyn Nash is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Red Hat. Since joining Red Hat in 2016, she has held several key leadership roles, most recently as Vice President of Global Finance Transformation and Operations. Her focus was on driving strategy and value creation through transforming business capabilities, critical analysis, and influencing outcomes for the CFO Organization. Prior to that, Nash collaborated with the Products and Technologies and Marketing organizations, helping align financial investments to crucial business objectives.

Nash spent the previous 16 years at Cisco, with her last role as the Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics. In this role, she constructed data management, business intelligence and highly specialized data science teams. Her extensive operations and finance industry experience, anchored with a focus on organizational effectiveness, has created inclusive working environments and extensive cross-functional collaboration. She is passionate about driving transformative change with a people-first focus. Before Cisco, Nash worked at Hewlett Packard and KPMG in both finance and accounting roles.

She is the founder and CFO of the Elizabeth Nash Foundation, an organization that helps improve the lives of people living with Cystic Fibrosis.
