Chung Kim

Chung Kim is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in architecting modern enterprise solutions. Currently serving as Chief Architect and Field CTO at Red Hat since 2019, Chung provides thought leadership in innovative technology strategy and develops partnerships with value-added resellers and systems integrators. Prior to this role, Chung held various positions at IBM from 1997 to 2018, including Executive Solution Architect, Senior Portal Architect, and eBusiness IT Architect, where responsibilities encompassed driving architecture vision, leading enterprise architecture initiatives, and executing complex projects related to service-oriented architecture and portal development. Chung is recognized for expertise in designing and implementing IBM WebSphere Portal and holds a BS in Operations Research from Columbia University and additional education from Yonsei University.
