Prakash S Shetty

Prakash S Shetty is an accomplished leader in enterprise sales with extensive experience at Red Hat since 2005, currently serving as Director of Enterprise Sales and Head of Sales for BFSI, Oil & Gas, and Energy. Notably, Prakash built and now manages the BFSI vertical for Red Hat India, overseeing a motivated team of Account Managers focused on key BFSI customers in India. Previous roles included managing significant BFSI accounts and engaging with senior bureaucrats in government to promote open-source solutions. Prior to Red Hat, Prakash held various positions at Zee Network, including in alliances, channel development, and marketing. Prakash holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Guru Nanak Khalsa College.
