Rimma Iontel

Rimma Iontel is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience at Red Hat, where positions have included Chief Architect for the Global Telco Team, Principal Telco Architect, Senior Telco Architect, and Global Lead for Telco Partner Technology since April 2014. Prior to Red Hat, Rimma Iontel worked at Verizon from April 2000 to April 2014 as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS), managing a Software Defined Networks (SDN) Proof of Concept Laboratory that emphasized network virtualization, orchestration, and OpenFlow technologies. Rimma Iontel holds a combined BS/MS degree in Computer Engineering and Telecommunications from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, awarded between 1997 and 2000.
