Ash Vijayakanthan

Ash Vijayakanthan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Ash is currently the SVP Cloud Sales and Partnerships at Redis, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President- Cloud Sales at Trifacta from January 2020 to December 2021. From December 2017 to February 2020, Ash was the Managing Director - Cloud Sales at Cloudera.

Before joining Cloudera, they worked at Citrix as the Global Vice President Partner Sales and Strategy from June 2016 to December 2017. In this role, they led the Global Strategic Partner business development and Channel Partner Marketing functions, driving sales execution and cultivating relationships with partners, customers, and Citrix.

Earlier in their career, Ash held multiple positions at Microsoft, including Snr Dir. Channel Business Development in Enterprise Partners from February 2013 to June 2016, Dir. Deal Execution Strategy, Business Development from July 2011 to March 2013, Dir. Worldwide Business Desk Operations, Business Development from August 2007 to July 2011, and Product Manager, Outbound Marketing & Sales Development from August 2005 to August 2007. At Microsoft, they played key roles in business development efforts, strategy formulation, deal execution, and product marketing for cloud computing and volume licensing revenue.

Ash also has experience working as a Management Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from January 2004 to August 2005, specializing in business strategy and operations, including workflow, process improvement, supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, and program management office roles in M&A projects.

Ash began their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Intermec Technologies (part of UNOVA Technologies) from June 2003 to January 2004, where they focused on redesigning the shop floor, resource capacity calculation, and implementing a KANBAN system for RFID, barcode printers, and mobile computing products.

Ash Vijayakanthan earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology. They later completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Supply Chain Management from the University of Washington. Additionally, Ash Vijayakanthan holds certifications in Six Sigma Black Belt and completed the Harvard Management Essentials program at Harvard Business School.
