Vasudevan Marappan

Vasudevan Marappan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vasudevan currently holds the position of Head of New Product Development and Costing at Redlands Ashlyn Motors Plc since August 2022. Prior to this, they were Head of Supply Chain, New Product Development, and Planning at the same company starting from August 2023.

From February 2020 to July 2022, Vasudevan worked as a Manager of Strategic Purchase at SANMAR ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED. Before that, they held the role of Assistant Manager of Strategic Material Sourcing at Pricol Limited from April 2004 to January 2020.

Vasudevan started their career as a Production Trainee at Aqua Pump Industries Coimbatore in August 2001, where they gained valuable experience before progressing to higher positions in their subsequent roles.

Vasudevan Marappan began their education at PSG College of Technology, where they pursued a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Vasudevan attended this institution from 1997 to 2001. Later, from 2007 to 2012, they attended Anna University Chennai, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
