Kate Lynch O’Grady

Katherine Lynch O'Grady serves as the Executive Director of Institutional Equity and Compliance at Bowdoin College, where responsibilities include civil rights compliance and Title IX coordination. Katherine's extensive experience in higher education includes roles as Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Community Standards, Assistant Dean of Community Standards, and Interim Special Assistant to the Dean of Student Affairs, along with advisory positions to the Conduct Review Board and various governance committees. In addition to their work at Bowdoin College, Katherine holds the position of General Counsel at RedMonk, providing corporate legal advice on employment matters and contracts. Prior experience encompasses legal roles at McCloskey, Mina & Cunniff, LLC, and Moss Shapiro, focusing on employment law and civil rights, and judicial clerkships at the United States District Court and Superior Court in Maine. Katherine holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College.
