Priyatham Tumurugoti

Priyatham Tumurugoti has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Priyatham'smost recent position is as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at RedoxBlox, starting in 2022. Previously, they worked as a Scientist at Glidewell Dental from 2021 to 2022. Priyatham also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Purdue University from 2019 to 2021, where they focused on manufacturing ceramic metal composites for high-temperature heat-exchangers in solar power plants. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Alfred University from 2018 to 2019. Priyatham has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Alfred University from 2013 to 2017, collaborating with national labs on ceramics development for nuclear waste disposal. Additionally, they gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Missouri S&T from 2011 to 2012 and as a Management Trainee at Steel Authority of India Limited from 2009 to 2010.

Priyatham Tumurugoti has an extensive education history in the field of materials science. Priyatham first pursued their undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they obtained a B.Tech degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from 2005 to 2009. Building upon their undergraduate education, they then attended the Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master's Degree in Materials Science.

Seeking further specialization and expertise, Priyatham enrolled at Alfred University from 2013 to 2017 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science. These educational experiences equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the field and solidified their knowledge and skills in materials science.

In addition to their formal education, Priyatham Tumurugoti has obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and expand their skill set. In June 2020, they completed the Data Science Professional Certificate program offered by Coursera. Furthermore, in April 2020, they obtained certifications in Design of Experiments and Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving from SAS, proving their competence in these areas.
