Silvia Daniela Gonzales, PhD, MBA, is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at VIVEX Biologics since March 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing R&D activities, evaluating concepts for clinical needs, and implementing process improvements for tissue-based products. Prior experience includes serving as a Product Development Engineer at VIVEX, leading cross-functional teams in product development, and working at Marina Medical Instruments as a Research and Development Engineer focusing on surgical tools. Silvia's academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami and an MBA in Process Improvement from Nova Southeastern University, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Additionally, Silvia has held various teaching assistant roles and has experience in laboratory management and technical support, showcasing a strong foundation in engineering and research.
