Karlie Johnson, CPA, has a diverse range of work experience in the field of audit and accounting. Karlie began their career as an Intern and Staff Accountant at Redpath and Company, Ltd. in January 2005 and worked in this role until September 2008. Karlie then transitioned to the role of Senior Accountant and worked in this position until September 2010. Karlie then progressed to the position of Manager, Audit and Accounting at the same company and worked in this role until September 2013. Karlie further advanced their career as a Senior Manager, Audit and Accounting from October 2013 to May 2017. Currently, Karlie serves as the Director of Audit and Accounting for Employee Benefit Plans at Redpath and Company, Ltd. since June 2017. Additionally, they are part of the audit and assurance team, providing services to closely held businesses in various industries. Prior to their time at Redpath, Karlie gained experience as an Accounting Clerk at Border States Electric Supply from May 2001 to December 2004.
Karlie Johnson, CPA, completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an Associates degree in Accounting from Northwest Technical College from 1999 to 2001. In terms of certifications, Karlie is a member of the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center through AICPA since 2010 and has been an Accountant/Certified Public Accountant accredited by the Minnesota Society of CPAs since 2007.
