Ricardo Lopez

Ricardo Lopez serves as the Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Redpath Mining since June 2015, overseeing the Corporate Compliance Program to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Previously, Ricardo held the position of Gerente Asuntos Jurídicos Sudámerica at Redpath Chilena Construcciones & Cia. Ltda from February 2010 to January 2021, managing legal affairs across South America, including Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, and Uruguay, and negotiating significant contracts. Earlier experience includes roles at ABB as an Abogado/Compliance Officer and at Cámara Chilena de la Construcción as Abogado de Estudios. Academically, Ricardo holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Monash University and a Licentiate degree in Law from Universidad Gabriela Mistral.
