Katey Hannaby

Katey Hannaby has a diverse work experience in the field of strategy and branding. Katey currently holds the position of Associate Director of Strategy at Redscout, where they started in January 2023. Before that, they worked as a Brand Strategist at Oatly from April 2022 to January 2023. Prior to their role at Oatly, Katey was employed at Redscout as a Senior Strategist from May 2021 to April 2022, and as a Strategist from March 2020 to May 2021.

Katey has also worked at Yard NYC as a Strategist from October 2019 to February 2020, where they were responsible for strategic outputs, trend forecasting, client management, and cross-agency relationships. Katey was also hired as a digital specialist, advocating for a digital-first approach in the agency's work.

Additionally, Katey has experience as a Freelance Strategist at Madwell in September and October 2019, and as a Strategist at CUBOCC from March to October 2019. At CUBOCC, they led an internal innovation project and worked on branding strategizing for Unilever.

Furthermore, Katey has worked at Annex88 as an Integrated Strategist from August 2017 to December 2018, where they led a variety of projects in luxury fashion, beauty, skincare, hospitality, confectionery, and alcohol. Katey also served as the Editor of the ANNEX88 trend zine and managed social media audits and analytics. Katey started their journey at Annex88 as a Junior Integrated Strategist/Analyst from November 2016 to August 2017, and earlier as a Strategy & Analytics Intern from June to November 2016.

Lastly, Katey worked as a Public Relations Jr. Strategist at Rebecca Minkoff from January to May 2016.

Katey Hannaby completed their high school education at TASIS from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Following this, they pursued further education at Auckland University of Technology from 2013 to 2016. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Management, with a minor in Economics.
