Eman Mohammed is an accomplished photojournalist and senior fellow with extensive experience in visual storytelling, particularly in conflict zones. Currently serving as a photojournalist at Redux Pictures and a senior TED Fellow since 2013, Eman garnered attention in 2014 for addressing cultural taboos as the only female photojournalist in Gaza during a TED talk. Previous roles include photojournalism at Washington Business Journal and Le Monde, as well as photo editing at AARP, where responsibilities included coordinating with photographers and processing images for online content. Eman also contributed to humanitarian efforts as a multimedia journalist for Gisha and a photojournalist for the World Food Programme and Women's eNews, documenting critical issues in the region. Eman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Public Relations from iugaza and attended the Eddie Adams Workshop for photojournalism.
