Yvonne Stephens

Yvonne Stephens is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a robust background in system engineering and project management. Currently serving as a System Engineer III at Redwire Space since April 2020, Yvonne previously held the role of System Engineer focusing on Requirements Management at Firefly Aerospace, where stakeholder expectations and regulatory compliance were prioritized. Earlier experiences include a tenure at Baker Hughes as a Research and Design Engineer III, where product validation and customer support were key responsibilities. Yvonne also gained critical analytical skills as an Engineering Staff II at United Space Alliance, working on Space Shuttle missions, and contributed to education as a Teacher Assistant and Proctor at The University of Texas at Austin, where Yvonne attained both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
