Jamie Knowles

Jamie Knowles is an experienced educator and instructional designer currently serving as an English and History Teacher at Redwood Day since August 2023. As a contractor since March 2020, Jamie has led the design and development of instructional content across various domains, including English language development and social-emotional learning. Previous roles include Digital Instructional Technologist at Northeastern University, English Teacher at Oakland Unified School District, and Senior Manager of Educator Professional Learning Programs at Common Sense Media. Jamie holds an M.A. in Philosophy & Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA in Philosophy from The New School.
