Andy Hamilton

Andy Hamilton has a strong background in manufacturing and operations. Andy is currently serving as the Vice President of Manufacturing at Redwood Materials since January 2021. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at Tesla where they held various management positions. From June 2019 to August 2020, they served as the Director SX General Assembly, Powertrain, and Production Control. Andy also held positions such as Director Production Control Operations, Director End of Line Operations and Operations Excellence, Director Operations Excellence, Director Powertrain Operations, Sr Manager Powertrain Operations, Operations Manager Powertrain Battery Module, Operations Manager Powertrain Electrics, Powertrain Production Supervisor, NPI Project Manager, and Production Planner Powertrain Manufacturing at Tesla during their tenure which started in 2010. Before joining Tesla, they worked as a Field Engineer at America Civil Constructors from September 2006 to April 2010.

Andy Hamilton earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz between 2004 and 2006.
