John Marsh

John Marsh has over 30 years of work experience in various technical and managerial roles. John began their career as a Research Scientist at Mintek and later worked as a Research Scientist at AECI Limited. Marsh then joined Anglo American, where they served as a Technical Specialist and was responsible for leading technical research programs and process engineering on multiple projects. John was also appointed as the Technical Manager for the Anglo American Beijing Office, where they completed feasibility studies for the Xiwan coal-to-liquids Project in China. Marsh continued their career at Anglo American as a Technical Manager for the Peruke Titanium Project, overseeing high temperature process development and process engineering. John joined Sherritt International Corporation as a Project Manager and later held various roles, including Manager of Technology Development, Director of Technologies, and Director of Technology Projects. Currently, Marsh is the Director of Chemical Engineering at Redwood Materials.

John Marsh completed their PhD in Chemistry at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1984 to 1993. Prior to that, they attended St Martin's School from 1972 to 1983 for their high school education, obtaining high school diplomas and certificates.
