Robert Trout has a diverse work experience in talent acquisition and recruiting operations. Robert is currently the Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Redwood Software, where they lead the Global Talent Acquisition team. Prior to that, they were the Director of Recruiting Operations and Enablement at Handshake, where they built and executed the operational roadmap for global talent acquisition. Robert also worked at Salesforce as the Director of Global Recruiting Program Management and at Atlassian as the Head of Talent Acquisition Technology, where they scaled talent acquisition infrastructure through innovative technology and process. Before that, they were the Talent Acquisition Innovation and Technology Manager at Red Hat, where they led the development and implementation of strategic human capital initiatives. Robert also has experience working at LinkedIn as a Large Enterprise Relationship Manager and Senior Customer Success Manager, and at iHeartMedia as an IT Project Manager. Additionally, they have worked as an Executive Recruiter at Ledgent, where they managed the placement process for finance and accounting professionals.
Robert Trout has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications from the University of Maryland. Robert also holds additional certifications, including being a LinkedIn Certified Professional - Recruiter obtained in September 2013 and a Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained in June 2012.
