Richard Armer

Richard Armer has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Richard is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Redx Pharma.

Previously, they were the Head of Chemistry at Ardana from September 2002 to October 2003. Richard then joined Redx Pharma as the Head of Drug Discovery and was with the company from March 2012 to August 2014.

More recently, Richard has been working as a consultant through their own company, Richard Armer Consulting. Richard has been in this role since April 2011 and continues to consult for various pharmaceutical companies.

From October 2003 to July 2007, Richard was the Director of Chemistry at Oxagen Ltd. Prior to that, they were a Section Head at Organon from January 1999 to September 2002. Richard's career in the pharmaceutical industry began as a Team Leader at Pfizer Central Research from October 1994 to December 1998.

Richard Armer completed a BSc in Chemistry at the University of Nottingham, followed by a PhD in Chemistry. Richard is a Fellow Chartered Chemist of the Royal Society of Chemistry and holds a Royal Society of Chemistry Membership Card.
