John G. Toland

John G. Toland is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at ReedGroup since September 2019, John is involved in resolving high-severity issues for the LeavePro Suite, focusing on root cause analysis and efficient fix delivery. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Ria Digital, where John developed front-end applications using React and Redux, and worked on API management and data handling. At USAA, John's responsibilities included maintaining communications between desktop and web applications and implementing CI pipelines. Early in their career, John held various positions at Amarillo College, including instructor for programming logic and app design, and peer tutor for mathematics. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Computer Science from Texas Tech University and an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Amarillo College. Additionally, John earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from West Texas A&M University.
