Dr. Rene Lochmann

Dr. Rene Lochmann, LL.M. is a seasoned attorney and partner at Reed Smith LLP, where since April 2005, legal expertise has been provided in real estate law and finance, acquisition finance, and debt restructuring. Dr. Lochmann possesses extensive experience in domestic and international real estate transactions, including cross-border sale and leasebacks, project development, portfolio deals, structured real estate lending, and fund finance. Prior to joining Reed Smith LLP, Dr. Lochmann practiced at Luther Menold (EY Law) from 2004 to 2005. Academic qualifications include a 2nd State Examination in Law from the State of Bavaria and a 1st State Examination from Munich University, along with further studies at the University of San Diego School of Law and affiliations with Lancaster University and the Max-Planck-Institut für Immaterialgüter- und Wettbewerbsrecht.
