Matt Gorman

Matt Gorman is a partner at Reed Smith LLP in Singapore since January 2015, focusing on developing a market-leading corporate finance offering in Southeast Asia. Previously, Gorman was a partner at Stephenson Harwood LLP, where leadership of the Corporate Finance team resulted in strong rankings in Asia Legal 500 and Chambers Asia. Gorman has advised on over 100 projects across various sectors, including TMT, energy, and manufacturing. Additional experience includes a secondment at the Royal Bank of Scotland providing legal support to the commercial banking team and an associate role at Salans, advising on M&A and capital markets. Gorman holds a CPE & LPC from The University of Law and a BA in Accounting & Financial Analysis from Newcastle University.
