Alin Cercel is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in engineering roles across several notable shipping companies. Since December 2019, Alin has served as First Engineer at NSB GROUP (REEDEREI NSB Niederelbe Schiffahrtsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG). Prior to this, Alin held the position of First Engineer at Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG from 2014 to December 2019 and at CMA CGM from November 2009 to 2014. Additionally, Alin worked as a Second Engineer at Peter Döhle from October 2004 to November 2009 and in various Third Engineer roles at Egon Oldendorff (2001-2004), Metkar Shipping (1997-2000), and NAVROM (1994-1997). Alin Cercel obtained a degree from Constanta Maritime University (1988-1993) and completed an RT-FLEX engines course at Wartsila.
