Mariana Bernardo Whatley

Mariana Bernardo Whatley has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in the fashion industry. Mariana is currently working as a Junior Color Designer at Reef since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Designer Assistant at Shefit from 2020 to 2022, where they collaborated with the Design Director on research, design, and collection planning. Mariana also has experience participating in the Work Study Exchange Program, where they gained valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, and adaptability from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they were the E-Commerce Owner of their own blog store, Mari B. - Blogstore, from 2014 to 2016, where they focused on social media marketing, content creation, and online store management. Mariana has also worked as a Fashion Designer Assistant at Isabella Giobbi - Women's Clothing in 2013, where they assisted the designer throughout the design process and analyzed fashion trends. Mariana started their career as a Product Developer Intern at Mar Egeu Beachwear in 2012, where they researched materials, created samples, and collaborated on seasonal concepts. Through their various roles, Mariana has gained valuable experience in design, marketing, management, and international work.

Mariana Bernardo Whatley completed their education in a chronological order. From 2009 to 2012, they attended Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. Later, from 2018 to 2020, they enrolled at Palomar College and earned a Diploma of Education with a focus on Fashion Merchandising.
