Jeffrey Hauf

Jeffrey Hauf has extensive experience in claims management and risk management. Jeffrey has held positions in various companies, including REEF as the Director of Claims, Systems, and Data Analytics, where they led a department overseeing 5000 claims per year and was responsible for program goals, strategies, workflows, and actuarial results. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at REEF, where they were responsible for risk management consulting and improving claims processes.

Before joining REEF, Jeffrey worked at Kohl's Department Stores for nearly a decade. Jeffrey held roles such as Manager of General Liability, where they successfully reduced pending GL litigation cases and played a key role in system migrations and TPA RFP decisions. Jeffrey also led cross-functional teams and played an integral part in the company's initiatives. Additionally, they were responsible for founding and leading the Veterans Business Resource Group at Kohl's.

Jeffrey's early career includes serving as a Squad Leader/Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where they led and trained a squad of Marines in combat techniques and tactics. Jeffrey also has experience working as a Claims Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where they evaluated, negotiated, and settled complex injury claims and lawsuits.
