David Friedenstein

David Friedenstein is an accomplished Lead Animator at Reel FX, with experience on notable projects such as "The Monkey King" (2023) and "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants" (2025). Prior to this role, David held the position of Senior Character Animator, contributing to films like "Rumble," "Back to the Outback," and "Scoob 2." David's previous experience includes serving as Lead Animator on the "Riverdance" feature film at Cinesite and working on various animated projects at companies such as NightWheel Pictures, Wizart Animation, Illumination Mac Guff, and Luckbat Studio. An animation educator as well, David has taught character animation and holds multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including Animation Mentor and Animsquad, as well as a multimedia engineering degree from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada.
