Aliyah Grant is currently working as a Career Development Program Coordinator at Reel Works. Prior to this role, Aliyah has experience in various companies such as Earth Journalism Network, Firelight Media, Long Island University, The Black TV & Film Collective, Mother Jungle, United States Census Bureau, Byron Bay International Film Festival, New York State Senator Diane Savino's Office, and CINQUA. Aliyah's educational background includes a degree in Global Studies, Film/Cinema/Video Studies, and Indigenous Rights from Long Island University.

Reel Works mentors, inspires, and empowers underserved NYC youth to share their stories through filmmaking, creating a springboard to successful careers in media and beyond. Reel Works matches teens 1:1 with professional filmmaker mentors to tell their stories and have their voices heard. MediaMKRS, a workforce development program within Reel Works, aims to diversify the media landscape and create equitable solutions through paid internships and job training programs.
