Ben Doucett, P. Eng has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles.

Ben started their career at Michelin North America Canada Inc. as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op Student, where they improved machine processes and created 3D models of components.

Ben then worked as a Course Technician at Atlantic Division CanoeKayak Canada, where they assembled and maintained equipment for national level on-water racing events.

Ben also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op Student at JASCO Applied Sciences, designing and testing mooring components for instrument deployment and protection.

At Welaptega, Ben worked as a Design Co-op Student Engineer, performing accuracy analysis on 3D modeling equipment and designing components using 3D modeling software.

Ben then joined TYCO INTEGRATED FIRE & SECURITY CANADA as a Summer Student, inspecting fire alarm systems and assisting senior technicians with installations and retrofits.

Ben furthered their engineering career at Fleetway Inc. as an ILS Analyst, before joining Irving Shipbuilding. At Irving Shipbuilding, they served as a Manufacturing Engineer for the CSC Program, assessing facilities and developing production strategies for shipbuilding. Ben also worked as a Field Service Engineer for the AOPS Program, providing technical support and generating TIRs to track and remedy production issues.

Following this, Ben joined Ultra Maritime as a Mechanical Engineer, where they contributed to various engineering projects. Most recently, they joined ReelData AI as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated their ability to apply engineering principles and contribute effectively in different industries, highlighting their versatility and expertise in manufacturing and mechanical engineering.

Ben Doucett, P. Eng pursued their education at Dalhousie University from 2011 to 2016, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Dartmouth High School from 2008 to 2011 and obtained their High School Diploma.
