Rory O'Brien

Rory O'Brien has had a varied work experience since 2012. From 2012-2013, they worked as a Maintenance employee for Tri-County Veterinary Services and as a Referee for Soccer Nova Scotia. In 2017, they held two positions simultaneously; a Marine Mechanic for Dixon's Marine Group 2000 inc. and a DSVPM 4-2 Technical Authority (Co-Op) for the Department of National Defence. In 2018, they were a Site Project Coordinator (Co-Op) for Design Build Solutions Inc. and in 2019 they were an EVO 9M PIP Project Engineer (Co-Op) for Teck Resources Limited. In 2020, they were a Construction Worker for Chris Scott Construction, and in 2021 they are currently a Head of Hardware and Jr. Mechanical Engineer for ReelData AI.

Rory O'Brien attended Yarmouth Consolidated Memorial High School from 2012 to 2015, where they earned their High School diploma in General Studies. Rory then went on to Dalhousie University, where they obtained an Engineering Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from 2015 to 2017. Finally, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie University from 2017 to 2020.
