JoAnna Bauer

JoAnna Bauer has a wealth of work experience. JoAnna began their career in 2008 as a Customer Relations & Quality Control Intern for ChaCha. JoAnna then worked as an Instructional Assistant for Noblesville Schools & Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center in 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Therapeutic Foster Care Case Manager for Interact Family Services. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Medicaid Waiver Case Manager for IPMG. Most recently, they have been a Senior Care Navigator for ReferWell since 2021. In this role, they manage member/patient interaction, coordinates calling efforts for specific campaign projects, and assists in conducting daily team meetings for care navigation.

JoAnna Bauer obtained their Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis between 2006 and 2010. Since then, they have obtained four additional certifications: HR Guidelines Everyone Should Know and Project Management Simplified from LinkedIn in March 2022, Certified Case Manager for Med Model Waivers from the Indiana Bureau of Aging in August 2014, and Certified Case Manager for CIH and FS Waivers from the Bureau of Developmental Disability Services- Indiana in August 2011.
