Mason Massie

Mason Massie currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Lead Mechanical Engineer at Reflex Robotics since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Boston Dynamics from June 2020 to May 2022, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at MIT Biomimetic Robotics Lab from June 2018 to May 2020, where Mason designed and manufactured a teleoperation robotic arm. Additionally, Mason held the position of President at both the MIT Electronics Research Society and the MIT Combat Robotics Club, the latter involving participation in the TV show BattleBots. An undergraduate researcher at the MIT Media Lab in 2019, Mason was involved in the design and fabrication of a high-performance motorized camera gantry, and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Desktop Metal in early 2017, contributed to the design of a custom laser gantry. Mason graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
