ALEX SIRONDA

Alex Sironda has extensive experience in the field of quality assurance and engineering. From 2012 to 2013, Alex worked as a Product Support Associate at Alere, Inc., where they performed and documented daily complaint investigations and resolved production and customer issues. ALEX then joined Tandem Diabetes Care, first as a QA Compliance Associate from 2013 to 2014, handling QA complaint processes and providing input on adverse event reporting to the FDA. Alex then worked as a Quality Engineer from 2014 to 2017 at Tandem Diabetes Care, where they were responsible for various quality engineering activities.

In 2017, Alex joined ReShape Medical, Inc. as a Quality Engineer, overseeing manufacturing engineering and quality engineering activities. ALEX performed supplier audits, complaint investigations, and NCR/CAPA investigations. ALEX also managed supplier corrective and preventive actions and participated in FDA/BSI audits. Alex used statistical tools for data analysis and maintained design history files.

From 2017 to 2019, Alex worked at Abbott as a Sr. Quality Engineer. ALEX provided process and quality engineering support to the product development team and investigated defective material to determine the root cause. ALEX also conducted NCR/CAPA investigations.

At Acutus Medical, Inc., Alex held the role of Senior Quality Engineer from 2019 to 2021, supporting product development and serving as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers. ALEX conducted NCMR and CAPA investigations and utilized various problem-solving techniques.

Most recently, Alex joined Reflow Medical in 2022 as a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer and is currently serving as the Quality Assurance Manager since March 2023. In this role, Alex ensures compliance with internal and external requirements throughout the product production cycle. ALEX collaborates with various departments to facilitate successful manufacturing and inspection of Reflow Medical products.

Alex Sironda attended Henderson State University from 2006 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
